Street Boys - A few profiles
Tony Clinton
He lived with his sister who has not been able to handle him due to her bad health - she is HIV positive. Due to that he finally joined the street to beg for daily bread. He got rescued by the Springs of Hope ministry. After the feeding at lunch and dinner, he goes to spend the night at the street.
Age: 10 years
Gender: Male
Ambition: Teacher (if he goes back to school - he left in Standard 3 and he is very interested in education)
Robert Njihia
Robert is has a single parent; he came to the the street in January 2008 due to financial instability in his household. It is hard for his moter to cater for his basic needs. He stays on the street and does not attend school.
Age: 14 years
Status: single parent
Gender: male
Ambition: computer technician
John Njoroge
John joined Springs of Hope ministry in February 2008. Both parents are dead; therefore, getting food and shelter is a real problem. John ended up joining the stree to look for a better life. He would like to go back to school in Standard 2. He is hapy to be with us in Springs of Hope.
